NT COVID-19 Economic Support Measures

Has your business been affected by the recent snap lockdowns announced in NT?

If so, please see below for the support tax free measures available to you and your business should you be eligible:

 

The NT Government has a number of COVID-19 economic support measures.

 

The Federal Government may declare any otherwise assessable grants included in these packages to be tax-free.
The most recent support measures included:

Tourism Survival Fund – eligible businesses will be able to access payments between of between $5,000 and $30,000.


Visitation Reliant Small Business Support Program eligible employing businesses will receive a $3,000 payment, while non-employing businesses, including sole traders will receive a $1,000 payment.


Arts and Culture COVID-19 Interruption Support Program –
For NT artists, arts workers and arts organisations booked for Darwin Festival, you can get up to $2,000 per application (if you are an individual) and $6,000 per application (if you are an organisation). For NT artists, arts workers and arts organisations not part of Darwin Festival, you can get up to $1,000 per application (individual) and $4,000 per application (organisation).

Small Business JobMaker Booster A payment of $100 or $200 per week for up to 12 months will be made to eligible employers for each eligible employee.

 

Trade Support Scheme – COVID-19 Quick response grants for grants of up to $5,000.
